HOME LEARNING

 At The Priory we have the following Home Learning for all year groups: 

READING

Every child should do reading daily at home, including reading independently, reading aloud to a parent and a parent reading with their child. 

SPELLINGS

Spellings - are given out weekly and differentiated according to the level of the individual.

Times tables are part of the weekly Home Learning and are differentiated according to the year group and individual pupil. It is important to repeat and rehearse these regularly.

Individual Year Group Home Learning

• Year 6 -  2-3 pieces of work linked to any subjects set a week up to 40 mins a night
• Year 5 -  2 pieces of work linked to any subjects set a week up to 30 mins a night
• Year 3 and 4 - 1 piece of work set each week up to 30 mins a night
• Years 1 and 2 - 1 piece of  every other week
